    Verb Structure in Kitembo
    (2014-05-16) Hand - Jinga, Kabucungu
The goal of Bible translation is to help the people to have the Bible in the language which speaks to their hearts. The Gospel of Luke in Kitembo has been published and is being used in the churches and the Tembo Christian families. But the translators need to understand the linguistic role and the use of the verb in causative, applicative, and passive constructions. This work concerns a study of verb structure in Kitembo. The purpose is to understand the function of the verb and how it operates in the complexity of Kitembo speech.
